Synopsis

My first criminal case has landed me in the arms of the City's most eligible bachelor, and now we both have the most to lose... I was lost when I met him. I was just starting out, still finding my way, and then he was there... his brooding aura surrounded me. He was older, experienced, everything I wasn't... working close on a new case with him was the hardest thing--until I started to fall for him. My past was not happy, it wasn't bright or kind, but he was, and that was scarier than anything I ever went through. Now, our time is running out, and the distraction between us makes everything much harder.
