Synopsis
Violet Johnstone is the unluckiest girl in the room; brought to a party as a human offering to the newest leader of the Sacramento Hunters, kidnapped by two men with the worst intentions, and facing a fate worse than death after unwittingly escaping one of the most powerful vampires in the country. A bad day doesn't even begin to describe the last 24 hours. At least, until Julian Descourt takes mercy on her when he finds her in the woods.
